PHOENIX RACING CLUBS Phoenix Scalextric Circuit provides for four racing clubs that meet weekly and also for special events both at home and away at other clubs. TUESDAY 6 pm to 8.30 pm - Phoenix Family Night Club THURSDAY 6 pm to 10.30 pm - Phoenix Seniors Club SATURDAY 10 am to 1.30 pm - Junior Club  In addition Phoenix Holiday Club is open every Tuesday and Thursday of every school holiday (except Christmas) 8.30 am. until 6.30 P.M.. No requirement to book in, just turn up but you do have to be a club member for Insurance reasons. Membership Fees paid annually are: Adult Rate = £20 Child Rate = £10 Family Rate = £25 Race Fees paid each meeting are: Adult Rate = £6 Under 16 = £4 Family Rate = £10 The club has been meeting for over twenty years. We enjoy racing all types of Scalextric type cars in a friendly and competitive atmosphere. All equipment is supplied if needed including cars and controllers. Phoenix races to a straight forward set of rules which are designed to keep cars as near box standard as possible, keep the racing even and prevent you spending too much on spare  parts!
We promote the concept of helping all new racers to do well and the club
is organised in a progressive manner so that as you become more
experienced you can join in at the next level up as you get better
results. Thursday night is the highest standard for both Juniors and
Senior racers. Racers start as early as 6 years of age ( no upper age
limit!).We currently race ten different classes of car throughout the weekly meetings and these are constantly reviewed with occasional changes taking place throughout the season. Trophies and prizes are awarded each quarter for Monday Juniors and annually for dads n Lads and Seniors club. medals are awarded to the Saturday club each week for Best new Racer, Most Improved Racer and Top Young racer. We enjoy our meetings and are a happy group of 233 members and operate a code of Zero tolerance to bad behaviour including any form of verbal abuse. Children are well supervised and our location is on a private estate and away from a main road. Although we are in a Barn we enjoy superb heating and a Tuck Shop, discounts from various retailers and special status at motor racing events. YOU ARE VERY WELCOME TO JOIN US
